Wahoka! Welcome to the Phoenix Circle! The Phoenix are soaring their way into a memorable year with their dads and daughters. The Phoenix originally started in the Friendly Spirit Nation as the Pala Tribe and transformed into the Soaring Spirit which ultimately ended up in the “BTS” Big Thunder Spirit Expedition. The circle name “Phoenix” was named from the popular book series Harry Potter. The Phoenix has a great group of enthusiastic dads and daughters making up the circle. The Phoenix has a long history of members contributing the advancement and contributions to the YMCA Adventure Program.
The Phoenix is best known for their goals and ambitions for the three F’s. To have a lot of Fun, cook and eat good Food, and build big Fires at their camping events with their fellow dads and daughters. The core group of dads and daughters are from the Foothill Ranch, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Mission Viejo areas. The Phoenix dads and daughters often gather together for social events outside the YMCA Princess Adventure program, gatherings for fellowship and friendship.
