  1. Max was an amazing father who definitely epitomized "One of a Hundred Fathers". He loved Big Thunder Spirit and everything it stood for. His love for his daughter, Elizabeth, was apparent at every campout and event - and in everything he did for our Expedition. Max - you will be missed sorely.

  2. R.I.P. Max, my friend. You will be sorely missed. You were an amazing Father and an inspiration to many with your tireless energy and positive attitude on life. You were the epitome of BTS Dads, you knew what FUN was, and created many lasting memories for your daughter Elizabeth, I am sure. Make 'em smile up in the heavens and tell them "they MUST have FUN". Wahoka! JV

  4. It is always great to see Max and Elizabeth together and I was so glad to see them on stage as wizard at Camp Marston (my girls like Elizabeth's wig). Max was always quick with "Hello" and his genuine care and consideration of everyone was clear. We will miss you Max and we will do our best to be 100 fathers for Elizabeth.

  5. Max was truly a wonderful person. We had the pleasure of enjoying time with Max at BTS outings and enjoying that awesome mac and cheese that he and Elizabeth made. We shall miss you Max and Elizabeth will always be part of our BTS family.

  6. Max, we were lucky to know you, and to call you a friend. These many years with BTS, everyone who saw you with Elizabeth knew "now there's a great Dad!" We will all miss seeing you around the campfire, but your spirit lives on with all of BTS. God bless. Marc and Claire

  7. Dear One of a Hundred Fathers,
I didn't know about these postings. Thank you all for your kind words. The year is coming to an end and Elizabeth will graduate this Saturday thanks to all the Dolphins dads that took her camping in the absence of Max. “Is not that we forget, is that we learn how to live without them”
Is hard to believe for other people that she will go with you and without her dad; they don't understand how serious you are about the objective of this organization. Elizabeth trusts you and she has so many dads in you.
You are forever part of our lives; I know that Max was very proud of being part of BTS and now I am sure he is of you.
    We Love you,
    Elizabeth and Rebeca Mizejewski
